Privacy Policy
Who we are
ElectricalPanelUpgrade.net ("the Site") is an AeqR network property. AeqR operates the Site and routes estimate requests to a licensed Connecticut electrical contractor assigned to your area ("the Provider"). The Provider currently assigned is named at the bottom of every page and may change.
What we collect
- Estimate request (required to be called back): name, phone number, zip code, the type of work you're planning, and — only if you tick the separate box — your consent to receive text messages.
- Optional project details (a second, optional form on the confirmation page, when offered): street address, city, state and postal code; photos of your electrical panel; what you plan to add; your current electrical service size; your timing; and your preferred time to be contacted. You confirm the phone number you used so these details attach to your original request rather than creating a new one. Skipping this form does not affect your request.
- How you found us: the page you landed on, the referring page and campaign parameters (such as utm_source, gclid or fbclid) so we know which advertising works. We also assign your browser session a random request identifier (it contains nothing about you) that travels with your request into our CRM and our conversion measurement so the same request is never counted twice. These values are kept in your browser only for the current session.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, collected by our hosting provider (Cloudflare), the form provider (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector, whose servers every page connects to in order to load the form), the bot-protection check on the form (Cloudflare Turnstile) and any analytics tags in use.
- Calls (when a phone number is published on this Site): if you call it, the call is carried by our phone system, which records the time, the number you called from, the duration and whether the call was answered. If a call is recorded you will hear a notice before recording begins.
How we use it
- To pass your request to one assigned Provider so they can call you about an estimate.
- To confirm your request and follow up on it by phone, and by text only if you opted in.
- To measure and improve the Site and our advertising.
- To keep records required by law.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your information to lead lists, data brokers or multiple contractors.
- We do not share your mobile number or SMS opt-in with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Mobile opt-in data is used only to send you the messages you asked for.
SMS / text message terms
- Program: ElectricalPanelUpgrade.net estimate updates. Messages relate to the estimate you requested — confirmation, scheduling and follow-up.
- Consent: optional. Submitting the form does not opt you in; only ticking the separate "text me" checkbox does. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service.
- Frequency: varies; typically a few messages per estimate request.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply according to your carrier plan.
- Opt out: reply STOP to any message to end texts. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@electricalpanelupgrade.net.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Phone calls
By submitting the form you ask to be called at the number you provide about your estimate. Calls may be recorded for quality and training; Connecticut requires all parties to be told, and you will hear a notice at the start of any recorded call.
Sharing
We share your request — and the optional project details and photos if you provide them — with the one assigned Provider, who sees only requests routed to them. Our forms, CRM, messaging and phone routing run on GoHighLevel / LeadConnector; hosting and bot protection on Cloudflare; analytics and advertising measurement, when enabled, on Google (Tag Manager, Analytics, Ads) and Meta. These companies process data for us under contract. We disclose information when the law requires it.
Automated and AI systems
Submitting the form creates a record in our system and may trigger an automated confirmation to you. We do not place outbound calls using an artificial or AI-generated voice. If that changes, this policy and the form's consent language will say so before it happens, and you will be told when you are speaking with an automated system.
Retention, access and deletion
We keep estimate-request records, including any photos, for as long as needed to serve the request, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations, then delete them. Photos are stored in our CRM and are visible only to us and the assigned Provider. Email hello@electricalpanelupgrade.net to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it; we respond within 30 days.
Cookies and analytics
The Site itself sets no cookies of its own. When analytics and advertising tags are enabled (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta pixels), they set cookies to measure visits and conversions, and campaign identifiers from the URL are kept for your browsing session to attribute your request. The embedded form and its bot-protection check may set their own cookies. You can block cookies in your browser; the Site still works.
Children
The Site is for homeowners and is not directed to anyone under 18.
